My Background

Latoya J. Williams has a great passion for helping young professionals skillfully navigate the early phases of their career and professional development and helping professionals of all ages experience optimal engagement in their working lives.

For the past 11 years, Latoya has worked as a consultant with various non-profit, corporate, government and small-business clients. She has developed a comprehensive management perspective and skill set from performing organizational development, data management, business and systems analysis, web development, and training responsibilities. In 2007, Latoya completed a masters program in Transpersonal Psychology. Her graduate studies and work helped her hone deep listening, effective communication, and facilitation skills.

Latoya has developed her own coaching practice specializing in helping individuals and groups enhance their sense of well-being through career and professional development and personalized self-care practices, including “intuitive eating.”

Latoya demonstrates her commitment to community development and social improvement through ongoing volunteer projects and activities. For the past decade, she has contributed in her local community as a tutor/mentor, a volunteer teaching instructor, and a group home counselor for at-risk youth. Latoya has a great ability to adapt and work well with diverse individuals and groups, due to living in several different regions of the United States and the resultant understanding of a multicultural perspective and its vital importance.

Latoya is also extremely passionate about caring for the Earth and improving environmental sustainability and helped coordinate and complete planning and implementation tasks for the largest Earth Day Fair in the Piedmont Triad area in North Carolina in 2009.
